I have been trying to find an alternative to Adobe photoshop until I can afford it. In this month's edition of Reader's Digest they had a website that offers alternatives to popular programs, such as Adobe. The url is http://alternativeto.net. The website has a lot of website alternatives. I am thinking of checking out Picasa by Google. I like most things by Google, so this should be a good fit. I have gmail and my main browser is Google Chrome. I still like Yahoo for searches though. But back to the subject. I have tried Picnik and I don't pay for premium services, but the basic services are great. I like to edit my pictures by adding text. My desktop wallpaper was one I found at Vlad Studios and edited by adding text at Picnik. I am such an internet junkie. I web surf everywhere, the things that catch my attention are mind boggling.
